Open Trucking respects your operational data. This policy explains what we collect when you use the Open Trucking platform, co-pilot tools, and association services.
1. Information we collect
We collect account information (email, phone, name), USDOT and FMCSA-linked carrier data, onboarding goals and lanes, documents you upload (rate cons, BOLs, citations), co-pilot chat history, usage logs, and billing data processed through Stripe.
2. How we use information
We use your data to verify authority, personalize Teo and Tia co-pilot responses, deliver Signal intel and Weekly Thread content, operate cab tabs (Garage, Network, Growth, Ops, GTM SIM), process payments, and improve the Platform.
3. AI & document processing
Uploaded documents and chat messages may be processed by third-party AI providers to extract rates, compliance fields, and operational insights. Do not upload data you are not authorized to share. We do not sell your load documents to brokers.
4. Sharing
We share data with service providers (hosting, AI, SMS, payments) under contract. Partner referrals are made only with your engagement. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
5. Retention & security
We retain account and operational data while your membership is active and as needed for legal compliance. We use industry-standard measures to protect data; no system is 100% secure.
6. Your choices
You may update profile data in Settings, request account deletion via support@opentrucking.com, and opt out of non-essential marketing communications. SMS alerts require your consent and can be stopped by replying STOP where applicable.
7. Cookies & local storage
We use cookies and local storage for authentication (cab session), theme preferences, and onboarding state. Service workers may cache assets for offline PWA use.
8. Children
The Platform is for commercial transportation professionals and is not directed to individuals under 18.
